The journey begins on the Gallipoli Peninsula. In antiquity, Abydos stood as one of the most important crossings of the Hellespont, marking the link between Asia and Europe. On the opposite shore, Sestos formed the other side of this historic passage, bearing witness to centuries of trade, travel, and cultural exchange. <\/p>

Continuing along the route, you arrive at Madytos, located in present-day Eceabat. With a history dating back to the 7th century BC, it is one of the oldest continuously inhabited settlements in the Troas Region. <\/p>

Crossing the Dardanelles and heading south, the route reaches Bozcaada, known in antiquity as Tenedos.
